Card name

Each card in the Luck & Logic TCG has a card name (カード名 kādo mei) written vertically along its left side. These names serve to distinguish it from other cards, and players cannot have more than four cards with the same name in their main deck.

On member cards, card names are divided into two parts: the title (称号 shōgō) and the character name (名称 meishō). Titles are written in black and have no effect on gameplay, and only serve to distinguish a member from other members with the same character name. Character names are written in white, and designate the character that the card is representing (e.g. the character name of Towards the Future Together, Tamaki is "Tamaki"). Character names do not affect trance, as you can trance using any logicalist and any foreigner into any tranceunion regardless of character names. However, character names are frequently referenced by many abilities, such as Covenant abilities.
